I can fully comprehend your disappointment upon reading the latest information regarding Tanya. There is much more to the history of the matter. However, the actual facts are that, regardless of her actions or character (or lack thereof), they all ultimately served to benefit those citizens who, for unknown (sensible) reasons, did not receive the care they paid for and required. I am confident that there was a beneficial effect nation wide. Regarding your comment about Steven Herald, I am in complete agreement. I have had the misfortune to sit at a table with him and observe him, in the presence of his lawyer, tell Tanya a complete and utter false account about the circumstances that led to the death of dear Merna, despite the fact that he was in possession of the full facts. I am optimistic that the authorities are carefully monitoring him.

Hi Tony
Such a shame to read the update about Tanya.
This thread popped into my head. I was shocked to see the update only a few weeks back.
She is not a reflection of Merna.
I still feel like theres absolutely no closure about Steven Herald and his goons who are still running Eloma Care? How can this be?His face should be plastered everywhere. I feel sick everytime I see their cars.

Hi Nathan

I am currently unaware of any additional information regarding Herald and can only suspect that he believes Karma is aware of everyone's address, with the exception of his own.

I'll endeavour to post an update soon, but Tanya has left a very negative impression on me. She tried to rip me off and not pay my fees, and then when faced with the backlash of non-payment, only paid me 50% of the agreed amount and would not pay the GST.

My younger sister has Down's, and I took great pride in being able to help her, her friends, and single other person with a disability. Thus, I very carefully chose my legal team, so there was no chance whatsoever of big business (lawyers and insurance companies) taking control of the matter and selling out the sector I proudly represented. This selling out has been evident in the past and I made sure it did not happen with this matter. Tanya and her new legal counsel, one ripe grub Carey Eastlake, tried to undermine the lawyer I chose, and Tanya approved, alleging the lawyer was chosen and approved by me only because he was a mate of mine. That speaks volumes about Tanya and Carey's character.

I should point out that Tanya received a fantastic settlement, and if it was not for my careful management, the matter would not have moved from the District Court jurisdiction to the Supreme Court. Lawyers assessed her settlement at under $750,000 but as I said, resultant from my management, the case was run in the Supreme Court and Tanya received well over $1,000,000 yet still sought fit to try and not pay me. Personally I don't give a toss about her and her $$, and consider myself truly blessed to have had the opportunity to represent the wonderful community of people with disabilities and their carers. It was a highlight in my career.

Hey Anon

I will be doing a big update as soon as I can. I've had to refrain from updates because of a lot of happenings and unwanted outside influences that could have potentially affected Tanya emotionally and I did not want to risk this. When her legal matter with AFFORD is all wrapped up and finalised, I will be able to report again. I am thinking this will be sooner rather than later.

Thx for staying in touch.....appreciate you support.

Best regards

Thanks for alerting of the name change. Many businesses and indeed people change their name for various reasons. I'll endeavour to find out why the need for the name change. Maybe we will never know and best served keeping a watchful eye on the actual organisation instead. Thx for your input...appreciated TJ

That's an interesting article and under the circumstances one could be forgiven for being angry, especially Tanya Petrus.

However, what one deems to be mismanagement (and there can be no arguments in this case from those who care) others like the AFFORD board deemed this outstanding management!

To be fair I don't know if Mr Herald has been charged with any breaches yet preventing him from holding this position! Let's see how it pans out.
